If you're an above average student-athlete with the academic track record, athletic talent, and passion to play beyond their current level of sports, then our services are for you. But most of these types of student-athletes unintentionally stop their sports play in high school because they’ve gone unnoticed by colleges looking for their talent and academics. Why? Because they expect to be "discovered" by their favorite college or assume that their coach will "take care of it."

Game Plan Sports Media's high-impact profile and professional-grade evaluation video footage of athletes will get a coach's attention. That's the first step in being recruited. Our team of former athletes and coaches knows what coaches are looking for and how to make you stand out.

We can use your photos and videos to create your knock-out media kit. Or we can use our pro photographers and videographers to capture you in your best light. Even if you're in your senior year in high school, Game Plan Sports Media can quickly put your highlights together so you aren't overlooked and can continue to play the sport you love.

  • Printed Athlete Profile

Don't get lost in the piles of black-and-white, single-page stat sheets that coaches have piled on their desks. With a custom designed profile, you'll get the full-color attention and consideration you desire.

Game Plan Sports Media can use your hi-res photos for your one-of-a-kind athletic profile, or if you haven't collected any, our photographers can attend games, practices, or a private session to capture your unique talents. Naturally, we'll also want your full range of athletic, academic, and personal information to round out this sleek printed piece.

You can never start too early to get your name out to colleges. We can start with your freshman year and update your athlete profile each year until your final season. We've also created profiles for sophomores, juniors, and seniors - depending on when they contacted us. It's never too early, and it's never too late!

  • Evaluation Video

Most colleges and universities have neither the budget nor the resources to scout the thousands of student-athletes across the country. That's why your evaluation video is so critical. It's virtually your tryout.

Most coaches will get a DVD (or VHS!) of an athlete's game clips. Nothing wrong with that. But Game Plan Sports Media enhances your play time with professional graphics to identify you on the field or court or wherever you play. Plus we include a brief personal interview with you so coaches get the whole picture of you as a student-athlete - all underscored to music that reflects your personality as an athlete.

Don't have any footage? No problem. Our videographers can attend games and practices to tape those skills that you've honed over the past several years. Whenever you start, get with your coach to select games or footage that showcase you at your best.

  • Packages - Contact us for consultation and pricing

Game Plan Sports Media offers several packages to maximize your exposure, based on your current year of high school. For example:

    • Freshmen student-athletes really only need a profile to send to coaches as well as a schedule for the year to include regular season, tournaments, camps, etc.
    • The all-important sophomore year calls for an update to your profile and schedule, and may call for an evaluation video depending on coach request.
    • By junior year, it's imperative to secure your evaluation video for your "virtual tryout" with coaches, since all have not seen you play.
    • As a senior student-athlete, you want to update your profile to send to coaches. If you're beginning this process as a senior, we can quickly produce a high-quality evaluation video and your athlete profile.

Tips

Start early!

There is no such thing as starting too early, since coaches begin scouting in a student-athlete's freshman year.

Involve your coach!

College coaches will be calling on your high school coach to talk about you. Make sure you work with your coach to get a letter of recommendation and let them know your intentions to play at the next level.

Also, start collecting video footage of your performances as a student-athlete. One event or game does not show your growth and skills.

Involve your parents!

While you don't want your parents actually calling coaches on your behalf, they can do a lot to help. Parents can read through the NCAA website, guides, and Clearinghouse information to ensure that you're on the right track. Parents can also help handle the paperwork and continue with encouragement through the process.

When to send your video

Never send a video to a coach unless they ask for one. You send out far more althetic profiles than you will evaluation videos. The only exception we might suggest is if a student-athlete is beginning the process their senior year or wanting to make a strong impression at a particular college.
